Milwaukee Dancing Grannies
Bringing Joy to the Community
through the Art of Dance
The Grannie Story
The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies began in 1984 as a group of women bringing aerobics to the streets in their first parade appearance. What started as a small circle of friends has grown into a thriving nonprofit of over 40 members. Today, they perform in more than 30 parades each year, along with community events, senior centers, women's clubs, and special fundraisers throughout Southeastern Wisconsin region and beyond. The Grannies are now a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), we are non-salaried volunteers who give our time and passion to perform for the community.

Welcome our new Music Man
The Milwaukee Dancing Grannies would like to welcome David Hall to the Milwaukee Dancing Grannie family as our new music man.
He has been instrumental in preparing our music for the 2026 season starting with our appearance in the Krewe of Thoth Mardi Gras parade on February 15th.
